Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson for the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a CNN political contributor between 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's 2012 election campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. It was believed that Psaki would be replacing Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30, 2014. She was appointed communications director at the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
